EUN HYE LEE - Curriculum

EUN-HYE LEE, born in South Korea, received her first piano lessons at age 6. She studied church music at Seoul Theological University and organ (Diplom and Konzertexamen) in Berlin at the University of the Arts with Prof. Paolo Crivellaro. She concluded her program in Berlin “summa cum laude”. Afterwards she completed a post graduate program for early music at the Schola Cantorum Basiliensis in Switzerland with Prof. Lorenzo Ghielmi. Eun-Hye Lee has been awarded the 2nd Prize in the international “Francesco D’Onofrio” organ competition 2004 in Italy. In the year 2011 she got the Audience Award in the international “Prix de Bossard” organ competition in Switzerland. During her academic studies in Berlin and in Basel Eun-Hye Lee received several scholarships. 2006 she played her concert debut in Berlin Cathedral. Since that Eun-Hye Lee has played many concerts in important churches and festivals in several countries in Europe (International Organ Festival Magadino/Switzerland, Aarhus Cathedral/Denmark, S. Alessandro, Milan/Italy, Kaiser-Wilhelm-Gedächtnis-Kirche, Brandenburg Cathedral and Berlin Cathedral/Germany etc.). In 2007 she has been assistant organist at Berlin Cathedral where she played on the historic Sauer organ built in 1905 (IV/113). Since december 2011 Eun-Hye Lee is the organist at St. Johannes Weinfelden in Switzerland.
